Lawrence + Memorial is a not-for-profit, general, acute care, private hospital founded in 1912, serving the Connecticut shoreline region. With a license for 280 beds, they provide a wide range of patient care services including medical, surgical, pediatric, rehab, psychiatric, and obstetrical care. Their team of over 2,400 skilled professionals covers various specialties such as critical care, inpatient rehab, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, and cardiac rehabilitation. The hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System, caters to a primary service area of 10 towns along the shoreline, reaching a service area population of approximately 180,000 people, expanding to 250,000 in the summer.
