Lucid Diagnostics Inc. is a commercial-stage medical diagnostics company focused on cancer prevention, particularly for patients with gastroesophageal disease (GERD). A subsidiary of PAVmed Inc., Lucid has developed the EsoGuard® Esophageal DNA Test, the first non-invasive diagnostic test for early detection of esophageal precancer. This breakthrough test is performed using the EsoCheck® Esophageal Cell Collection Device, allowing for quick and painless sampling during an office visit. With millions of GERD patients at risk of esophageal cancer, Lucid aims to provide a widespread screening tool capable of preventing cancer deaths through early identification of precancerous conditions.
