This contract position spans the complete school year, providing essential nursing services in a school environment. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care and health assessments to students, ensuring a safe and healthy learning atmosphere. • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders. • Provide 1:1 nursing support for students requiring individualized health care throughout the school day. • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans. • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines. • Promote health education and wellness initiatives among the student population. Desired Qualifications: • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN). • Experience working as a school nurse, preferably within a K-12 setting. • Proficiency in providing 1:1 nursing support to students with special health needs. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, parents, and school personnel. • Ability to respond promptly and competently in emergency situations.
