**Overview:**
The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized student care within the school environment, ensuring that all services are provided in alignment with physician orders and in accordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the School District and Amergis Healthcare. **Responsibilities:**
• Oversee the implementation of the nursing process
• Deliver individualized student care within the school environment
• Ensure that all services are provided in alignment with physician orders
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student care
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure seamless care
• *Qualifications:**
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
• One year of school nursing experience, preferred
• Pediatric experience, preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
