Contract Details: • Location: Tampa, FL • Schedule: Follows the local school district calendar • Hours: ~30–35 hours per week (school-day schedule) • Pay: $55 per hour Key Responsibilities: • Provide continuous 1:1 medical care to an assigned student throughout the school day. (Potential Needs to include: Vents, extreme behaviors, G Tube, J Tube, Trachs, non-verbal, tube feedings, diapering, wheelchair bound, lifting, etc). • Implement and monitor individualized healthcare plans. • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders. • Support the student on school transportation as needed. • Document all care accurately and maintain confidentiality. • Collaborate closely with school staff, parents/guardians, and your agency recruiter. • Promote a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment. • Act calmly and effectively in emergency or high-behavior situations. Qualifications: • Active Florida RN license • CPR/BLS certification • Prior experience in pediatric, school, or 1:1 complex-care nursing strongly preferred • Ability to lift 40+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as transfers, ambulation support, and positioning • Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor Apply now for more information and the next steps!
