Job Description
Position: Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay: $24/hour
Experience: 1 to 3 months of related CNA experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Type: Full-time; Temporary
Schedule: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM or 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM
Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking an Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide toileting assistance and appropriate peri care for incontinent residents.
• Take and accurately record vital signs, intake and output, and ADLs.
• Assist with resident transfers, repositioning, and ambulation per care plans.
• Respond to call lights and monitor residents for safety and comfort.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed staff.
• Provide companionship and support in accordance with care plans.
Position Requirements:
• Current State of Hawaii Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to accurately document care and use basic computer systems.
• Knowledge of resident rights, privacy standards, and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
