Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Progressive/Cardiac Care – Kentucky
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Location: Pikeville, Kentucky

Schedule: 8-week assignment; Day shift; 48 hours per week
Highlights:
• Progressive/Cardiac Care specialty unit serving young adult, adult, and elderly patient populations
• Hands-on experience with specialized cardiac procedures including pre/post CABG and interventional cardiology care
• Utilize advanced skills in cardiac monitoring, sheath management, chest tube care, and specialized drip titration
• Opportunity to work with a variety of cardiac technologies including ACT machines, central lines, and infusion therapy systems
• Day shift assignment with 48-hour work week providing clinical continuity
• Supportive team environment focused on patient-centered care and professional development
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state license
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac monitoring, pre/post-procedure care, sheath management, IV therapy, and specialized drip administration
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills with ability to provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan
