3rd Grade 1:1 Care Registered Nurse School Setting - Byron, MN in Byron, MN

This opportunity is for a dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse to provide essential support to a medically fragile student within an elementary school setting. Serving onsite at the school in Byron, MN, the nurse will work closely with the student throughout the school day, providing both medical care and paraprofessional assistance. This contract role requires a commitment of 35 hours per week during the current school year.

Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering individualized nursing care tailored to the specific medical needs of the student
• Assisting with daily activities and supporting the students educational experience
• Accompanying the student on the school bus before and after school; managing transportation logistics by leaving their car at the students home and returning there via bus drop-off
• Collaborating with school staff and families to maintain a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications and experience required:
• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations, particularly medically fragile children
• Ability to perform within a school-based setting with sensitivity and compassion
• Willingness to ride the bus with the student daily
