3rd Grade 1:1 Care School Registered Nurse | Faribault, Minnesota in Cannon City, MN

This opportunity seeks a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide essential student support within an elementary school setting. Working onsite in Faribault, MN, this contract position offers a unique role supporting a medically fragile pediatric student throughout the school day and assisting in a paraprofessional capacity.

Key Qualifications:
• Active Minnesota RN or LPN/LVN license required
• Current CPR/BLS certification mandatory
• Experience in pediatric nursing essential
• Comfort with transporting and riding the school bus with the student before and after school
• Ability to work effectively in a 1:1 care setting within a special education environment

Role Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care on a one-to-one basis to a medically fragile elementary student
• Collaborate closely with school staff and family to monitor and support the students health needs throughout the school day
• Assist with both nursing and paraprofessional care duties as needed
• Accompany the student on the bus before and after school, ensuring safe transportation procedures, and manage vehicle logistics related to the school bus routine
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate regularly with relevant personnel to ensure continuity of care

Schedule and Location:
• Full-time, 35 hours per week
• School calendar year contract
• Onsite role at an elementary school in Faribault, Minnesota
