Acute Care Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (RN - L&D) Location: Polson, Montana Employment Type: Full-Time / Per Diem Shift: Nights (Full-Time) | Variable (Per Diem) Openings: 2 As an Acute Care RN - Labor & Delivery, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers and newborns while supporting families during one of life's most meaningful moments. Key Responsibilities • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to emergent situations • Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation • Adhere to Providence clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications • Graduation from an accredited nursing program • Montana Registered Nurse (RN) License - upon hire • BLS (American Heart Association) - upon hire • NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics) - within 90 days of hire • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Preferred Qualifications: National specialty certification in Labor & Delivery or related area (preferred, not required) Recruiter Submission Template- Full Name: Degree (ADN / BSN / MSN) with University and Completion Year: Montana RN License Status: (Active / Pending - license number if available): BLS - American Heart Association (Yes/No) NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics (Yes/No / Will obtain within 90 days) Total Years of Nursing Experience: Total Labor & Delivery Experience (Years): Do you have Acute Care / Hospital-based RN experience?
