The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.
$67,600.00 - $101,400.00

Overview
In this role, you will act as a clinical resource, ensuring adherence to program policies and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing care for acute and chronic dialysis patients while managing daily operations and staff assignments.
Your Responsibilities
• Deliver direct patient care to dialysis patients.
• Supervise daily operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in staffing and patient scheduling.
• Assist with compliance to Avera policies and regulatory standards, including quality reporting.
• Review patient treatment plans, providing suggestions for improving care efficiency and quality.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff during rounds.
• Coordinate procedures and operations, including biomedical issues and physician orders.
• Update physicians on patient status and ensure follow-through on orders.
• Address and resolve patient/family/staff concerns, escalating as necessary.
• Utilize order sets for lab work and monitor abnormal results, notifying nephrologists promptly.
• Support staff orientation and development, assist in procedure revisions, and educate patients as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Active license in the state of practice upon hiring.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) - Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) upon hiring.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) - Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) upon hiring.
• Experience in dialysis or critical care.
