Job Summary: As the Nurse Manager, you will oversee the activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s) with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. • Lead the hiring, training, and professional development of nursing staff. • Identify and resolve issues impacting patient care services within designated units. • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to enhance service delivery. • Monitor budget adherence, approve expenditures, and manage resource allocation efficiently. • Collaborate with clinical leaders to create training programs that promote nursing excellence. • Evaluate the quality of nursing practices and integrate innovative practices based on safety, outcomes, and effectiveness. • Provide leadership and maintain 24-hour accountability for meeting quality, financial, and service benchmarks. Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse license from the Connecticut Department of Public Health required prior to hire. • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience required. • Proven leadership skills are essential. • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
