Position Summary: This role involves providing clinically competent, coordinated care that respects each client?s dignity, autonomy, and independent decision-making. It includes completing timely and accurate documentation, incorporating comprehensive, age-appropriate assessments that address biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs to support holistic and individualized client care. Key Responsibilities: To competently and clinically coordinate and provide client care in a manner that respects the client?s dignity, autonomy, and independent decision-making. To initiate and/or complete required documentation in a timely, systematic, and accurate manner, including age-related assessment of biophysical, psycho-social, environmental, self-care, age-specific, and educational factors. To participate actively in the quality improvement process and incorporate quality improvement findings into proactive clinical care and coordination of client care within the department. To also be involved in administrative meetings as a representative of the medical staff. To develop, initiate, or assist in developing treatment plans for each assigned client within appropriate timeframes, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary treatment team. To provide direct clinical services to children and adolescents, demonstrating competence in developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment planning, and intervention, and collaborating with families, Caregivers, And Multidisciplinary Team Members. Qualifications Required: Education Level - Master of Science in Nursing Years of Experience - Five or more years? experience as a clinical nurse specialist; experience working with chronically mentally ill populations required Licensing - Current DEA Controlled Substance Registration; current Controlled Substance Registration within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; current certification as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Certification. Skills/Abilities - Excellent Verbal And written communication skills; interpersonal skills; crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; computer skills; good customer relations skills; knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession. Preferred: Experience or desire to work with pediatric patients and bilingual (Spanish/English) ability a plus. Salary Range: \$90-\$100 / hour Salary ranges are based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications.
