Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a well-established anesthesia team in a community hospital setting located in the Midwest region of the United States. This role offers the opportunity to provide personalized anesthesia care across a variety of patient types, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Highlights: Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with no weekend, holiday, or on-call obligations. The position offers a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, with both full-time and part-time availability. The practice utilizes the Epic EMR system and supports a range of cases including joint programs, robotics, endoscopy, pulmonary, and cath lab procedures. Education and Experience
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• Eligible for or currently hold state licensure as a registered nurse.
• Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer as required by regional regulations. Requirements
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care under supervision.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and formulate anesthesia care plans.
• Perform anesthesia-related procedures including general anesthesia, epidural, caudal, nerve blocks, and sedation techniques.
• Manage cardiopulmonary resuscitation and provide invasive and noninvasive monitoring.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and discharge instructions.
