Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)/Physician Assisant in Altoona, IA

Job Summary: We are looking for pediatric focused knowlegable, professional, compassionate, and hard-working ARNP or physician assistant to provide integrative and functional medicine for our pediatric patients. An ideal candidate will have experience or be motivated to expand their knowlege in pediatric integrative and functional medicine. We are looking for a practitioner that has a strong desire to grow professionally and is commitment to delivering individualized patient-centered care. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive well-child visits, unwell visits, functional visits. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate conventional and complementary therapies Prescribe medications, supplementation, and homeopathy. Order and interpret routine labs, infectious testing, imaging, and functional medicine testing. Collaborate with our team of healthcare providers and our community of healthcare practices. Educate patients and families on healthy lifestyle habits, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions Be commited to healing each child, above treating a disease, focus on underlying issues. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and guidelines in pediatric integrative and functional medicine. Requirements: Current ARNP or physician assistant licensure in the state of Iowa Certification in Pediatric or Family Commitment to pediatric integrative medicine, including training in complementary therapies such as nutrition, homeopaty/herbal medicine, and therapeutic healing modalities. Strong communication, professional, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong desire to serve others, provide honest transparent conversation, and independently commited to professional growth.
