Opportunity Highlights
• Schedule: Mix of 10 hrs and 12 hrs shifts, regular hours required, no call
• Job Setting: Community hospital with 11 ORs, 2 Endo suites and a very active 16 bed L&D department
• Types of Cases: General, Ortho, OB, Endo, EP/Cath lab, MRI, Vascular, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Da Vinci Robot
• Credentialing: 60 days
• Duration: On going
• EMR System: Epic
• Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs at 4 to 1 ratio
• Lodging/Housing Stipend: $110/daily
• Car Rental/Mileage Stipend: $250/weekly
Minimum Requirements
• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Virginia license or willing to obtain
• Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Responsibilities
• Pre‐anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
