Job Description Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse OR Physician Assistant (Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist OR Physician Assistant) • This position is posted until filled and may close at any time. Job Responsibilities • Provides medical consultation in specialized areas of knowledge. • Provides direct and/or indirect patient care oriented toward improving or maintaining health and preventing illness. • Provides in-services for direct care staff on methods of patient care; oversees direct care staff in administering prescribed treatments. • Coordinates clinical activities and follow-up. • Maintains and updates patient charts, records, and information. • Assesses client/patient needs. Develops and implements plans to meet those needs. • Recommends, advocates, and/or implements new and/or changes to existing policies and procedures, laws, or regulations. • Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Minimum/Required Qualifications as a Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse: • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the State of Utah that's in good standing • Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) • A Controlled Substance license and a DEA certification with no disciplinary action • Ability to pass both a fingerprinting background check and drug screening Minimum Requirements As a Physician Assistant • Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Utah that's in good standing • Experience in mental health • A Controlled Substance license and a DEA certification with no disciplinary action • Ability to pass both a fingerprinting background check and drug screening Salary Range for Both the Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Mental Health Physician Assistant: • $46.56 - $75.38 Schedule • Monday - Friday from 6:30AM to 2:30PM with rotating weekends.
