Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem is accountable for offering high-quality patient care and applying nursing expertise to ensure effective medical care and positive patient outcomes on a per diem basis. Working closely under supervision, this role involves collaborating with the healthcare team and consulting experienced medical professionals to address challenging circumstances and ensure excellent patient care during designated daily shifts. Responsibilities: • Supports in administering patient evaluations, physical check-ups, and treatments to engage in comprehensive and tailored patient care regularly. • Aids in the interpretation of patient data to inform clinical judgments, therapy plans, and actions. • Collaborates in implementing prescribed medical interventions and treatments to ensure strict adherence to protocols and promote patient safety. • Supports the coordination of care and communication among different healthcare team members to advance patient outcomes. • Seeks assistance and advice from seasoned healthcare professionals on intricate patient scenarios and demanding medical conditions to ensure high-quality patient care. • Accomplishes other tasks as mandated. Qualifications: EDUCATION:Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE:Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
