Vera French Community Mental Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The ACT Nurse provides essential nursing services and supports clients in developing the skills and behaviors needed to successfully integrate into the community.

This is a full-time, first-shift position with rotating on-call responsibility.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Deliver nursing services, case management, and supportive counseling
• Provide medication monitoring, administration, and education
• Review laboratory values and communicate findings to the team prescriber
• Evaluate physical health needs and make appropriate referrals
• Teach independent living skills and facilitate access to community services
• Assist clients in building community support networks and assessing daily needs

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a minimum of six months of psychiatric nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa
• ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (Generalist) certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug, and alcohol screen

Community Mental Health Center, or any of its affiliates.

This authorization, in original or copy form, shall be valid for this and any future reports and updates that may be required.
