About the Role
The primary assistant to the Nurse Manager, this role involves coordinating and managing patient care while organizing, planning, directing, and evaluating services provided. The Clinical Expert ensures clinically competent services by validating staff competency in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Required)
Required Skills
• 2 years Registered Nurse experience in hospital setting (Preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) or licensed in a compact state (Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
• ACLS Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) For PACU, ACLS is required within 90 days (Preferred)
• PALS Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Preferred)
• Specialty Nursing Certification (e.g. CNOR, CEN, CMSRN, etc.) Upon Hire (Preferred)
Preferred Skills
• Experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
