Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) 4WH-Trauma/Rehab Medicine unit has an outstanding opportunity for an 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Day Shift, Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3) position.

4WH --4W Inpatient Trauma Rehabilitation provides care 24 hours a day to our rehabilitation inpatients with therapy provided a minimum of 3 hours per day, 6 days per week. Inpatient rehabilitation is provided for stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, and burns. We also provide care for ventilator-dependent patients. In addition to our rehabilitation patients, we have 5 medical-surgical beds for acute care patients who are potential rehabilitation candidates but not yet ready for rehabilitation and for the post-operative stay of our sacral flap patients. 
 

The Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3) performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. As assigned by the Nurse Manager, assumes staff assignments and preceptor responsibility. Provides leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote : delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others.

SCHEDULE:
90% FTE (36 hours per week), Day Shift

LOCATION:
Harborview Medical Center Campus - Seattle, First Hill

REQUIREMENTS:
BSN degree in nursing.
Acute Care nursing experience.
WA State RN license.
Charge Nurse experience.
Two – three years of professional nursing experience, including demonstrated skill and preference for adult education (preceptor, unit-based skills, etc.).

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$102,408.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$186,024.00 annual

Other Compensation:

BSN (or higher degree) Premium - $1.00/hour Certification (Specialty Certs) Premium - $1.25/hour Weekend Shift Premium - $4.00/hour Overtime Pay Relocation Assistance Available
