Behavioral Health Registered Nurse + Skilled | Full-Time- South OC in Orange, CA

Apex Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in South Orange County. This full-time role is ideal for a compassionate RN with experience in behavioral or mental health who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a home health setting. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health and skilled nursing assessments • Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care • Administer medications and monitor patient response • Provide patient and caregiver education related to mental health conditions • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams • Accurately document visits in compliance with regulatory standards • Monitor patient safety and respond to behavioral health concerns or crises Qualifications: • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license • Minimum 2 years RN experience (behavioral health/psychiatric preferred) • Home health or skilled nursing experience preferred • Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Schedule & Coverage Area: • Full-time, Monday–Friday (with some weekends as needed) • Coverage throughout South Orange County Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive salary • Mileage reimbursement • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off & holidays • Supportive clinical leadership and team environment Pay: From $50.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
