
Cardiac Rehab RN (PRN) in Island Creek, OH
Job Description
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and executes prescribed treatments within the scope of nursing practice. Coordinates activities and assumes availability of supplies and equipment for safe and efficient patient care. The cardiac/pulmonary rehab nurse shall utilize the nursing process in establishing and implementing exercise programs.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of West Virginia or temporary practice permit. Satisfactory references and physical exam. Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); successful completion of cardiac rhythm interpretation course or equivalent examination required. Must complete the cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation courses. ACLS certification (preferred).
Two years’ experience in cardiac nursing including, cardiac monitoring and caring for patients with the diagnosis of acute MI.
