Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiovascular ICU patients, including fresh open-heart surgery cases. • Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring techniques; experience with IABP and Impella devices highly valued. • Float as needed to other critical care units, telemetry floors, and cardiac monitoring. • Adhere to patient safety and quality standards, including medication administration protocols. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. • Work a night shift schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or a valid compact license that participates in Arizona. • BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred. • Minimum of 2 years CVICU experience; fresh open-heart experience required. • Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring; experience with Prismaflex CRRT is a plus. • Comfortable floating between critical care and telemetry units. • Ability to meet the facility’s staffing and scheduling requirements. Additional Details: • Guaranteed 36 hours per week with potential for six call-offs over a 13-week assignment. • No blocked scheduling; flexible availability desired. • Free parking and ability to wear any scrub color. • Charting performed in Cerner. • Teaching hospital with Level I trauma capability.
