A specialized opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Cardiovascular and Pediatric Intensive Care to provide exceptional care in a renowned pediatric cardiac unit. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-level nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients, including those with congenital heart disease and complex post-surgical needs. • Manage ventilatory and cardiac support therapies, including ECMO and CRRT. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and family education. • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records. • Adhere to established patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity. Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pediatric cardiac ICU nursing. • Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license. • Mandatory American Heart Association certifications: PALS and BLS; ACLS preferred. • VAD (Ventricular Assist Devices) experience highly desired but not required. • First-time pediatric cardiac ICU nurses are welcome to apply. Shift Details: • Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. • 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule with holiday rotation. Contract Information: • Contract role with flexibility to float within the unit as needed. • Guaranteed hours with possibility of minimal cancellations.
