An opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with specialized skills in Cardiac and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing to support a progressive healthcare environment. Schedule: • Approximately 36 hours per week • Every other weekend availability required • Holiday shifts and on-call duties expected Requirements and Qualifications: • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license • Proven experience working in a CVICU setting, managing pre and postoperative cardiac patients • Flexibility to accommodate varying surgical schedules • Willingness to float to related units such as Pediatric ICU (PICU), Pediatrics, and Neonatal ICU (NICU) • Ability to handle high-stress situations and respond to emergency needs Key Responsibilities: • Provide critical care nursing for cardiac patients in a specialized CVICU environment • Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with surgical and medical teams to optimize patient outcomes • Adapt nursing care to support fluctuating case complexities and volume • Participate in float assignments to PICU, Peds, and NICU when required This contract role provides a unique chance to enhance your nursing career by working in a state-of-the-art CVICU setting while enjoying a flexible schedule tailored to support patient care needs.
