Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (RN) | Gypsum, Colorado in Gypsum, CO

An experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing is needed to support a community-focused hospital located in Gypsum, Colorado. This role offers the chance to provide critical care in a smaller independent hospital setting dedicated to keeping patients close to home during their recovery. The ideal candidate will have robust Day 0 CVICU experience and be comfortable also covering the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Responsibilities: • Provide expert nursing care in the CVICU and CCU environments. • Manage patient care in two Cath Labs, including one Hybrid Cath Lab. • Participate in a 12-hour night shift schedule with weekend rotations. • Engage in call rotations, providing coverage approximately one call shift every two weeks according to hospital staffing needs. Qualifications: • Current Colorado RN license in good standing. • Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience required. • Minimum of 3 years of RN critical care experience. • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association. • Flu vaccination required with no exemptions.
