Job Summary

Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The nurse will deliver coordinated intraoperative patient care, support surgical teams, and maintain safety and quality standards. Role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and supervision of support staff.

This department covers all operating room services, including intraoperative care and perfusion support. Does not include PACU, anesthesia, pre-op holding, or sterile processing.

Responsibilities
• Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff
• Maintain sterile field and patient safety
• Participate in on-call rotation (1–2 days/week + 1 weekend/month)

Requirements
• Must have heart surgery experience (high competency required)
• RN License (state of practice) – Required
• BLS – Required
• BSN – Preferred
• Acute care OR/CVOR experience – Required
• Ability to work 5×8s and take required call shifts
