Position Summary The Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and interventional radiologists with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care. Provides teaching/follow-up to patients and their families, and the management of information for patients undergoing invasive cardiology and/or vascular procedures, while assisting in diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, IR, or vascular procedures based on facility scope. Required Qualifications • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing. • Current Arizona or Compact State Registered Nurse License. • Maintains current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs. • Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs. • Minimum of two years critical care experience. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff, management, and providers. • An understanding of computer systems, process design, and data management. • Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance. • Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job. • Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds. • Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency. Preferred Qualifications • Able to operate all patient care equipment to assist with CV/IR/Vascular procedures within the Cath Lab. • 3 years of registered nurse experience in the Cath Lab • Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
