Position Overview:
• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to determine donor suitability
• Establish rapport with donors to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
• Maintain donor and staff confidentiality
• Educate donors about potential hazards
• Provide guidance on general health and counseling regarding test results
• Assess and manage donor injuries and adverse reactions
• Evaluate medical histories and medication use to ensure donor eligibility
• Support employee training initiatives
• Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccination program

Job Requirements:
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, educated and certified in accordance with state regulations.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Key Attributes:
• Ability to perform tasks both standing and sitting, up to 2 to 4 hours per day.
• Willingness to bend and twist the neck for up to 2 hours per day.
• Frequent hand movement to perform precise tasks.
• Occasional light lifting (15lbs) and maximum lifting up to 50lbs.
• Exposure to biological fluids and related hazards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively.
• Capability to work independently and follow directives.
