More about our team The Emergency Department at Frye Regional offers:Board-certified emergency medicine physicians, 32 patient rooms and 3 nurses’ stationsBehavioral health treatment and referral, including suicide threat and alcohol detoxHigh quality standards for treatment of chest pain and strokeSexual assault nurse examiners specially trained to provide compassionate care and collect forensic evidenceTreatment of major and minor injuries and illnessesA helipad for patients with the most serious medical conditions to be airlifted directly to and from Frye Regional’s Emergency Department How you’ll contribute A Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I), who excels in this role: Monitor vital signs/blood sugarsAssists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient conditionMeasure and document input/output and weightsAssist nurse as neededAnswer call lightsAssist with patient admission, transfer and dischargeProvide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patientDistribute drinks and/or snacksMaintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.All other duties as assigned Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we’re looking for- a compassionate nursing assistant with a understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
Applicants should have a current state NA I license and completed NA course from an accredited school. Additional requirements include:Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.One year of experience preferred
