DescriptionJob Title: Certified Nursing Assistant Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/PRN As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients and assisting them with their daily activities. Responsibilities:Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingMonitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staffHelp patients with mobility and transfer them to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchersServe meals and assist patients with eatingMaintain a clean and safe environment for patientsDocument patient care and report any concerns to the nursing staffRequirementsRequirements:Current Nursing Assistant certification from state OR If currently attending a CNA class working toward certification – may not work non-certified for more than four (4) months.Current/active CPR certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient-focused approach to careAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skillsPhysical and Sensory Requirements:Considerable physical activity:Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet.Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.
