A Brief Overview As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients of all ages and acuity levels in various settings, including surgical, obstetrical, and pain management procedures. What You Will Do • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments for patients. • Develop and communicate tailored plans of care to patients and their families. • Establish and maintain essential venous access. • Ensure safe establishment and maintenance of airway throughout procedures. • Induce and maintain anesthesia, monitoring patient status effectively. • Oversee the emergence from anesthesia, ensuring patient safety. • Transfer patient care to appropriate staff following procedures. • Conduct post-operative follow-up for each case you handle. • Serve as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must be capable of fulfilling all job functions, including effective communication and the ability to work within specified hours. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • Active Certified Nurse Anesthetist license as per the Board of Nursing. • Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. • Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
