Job Responsibilities • Implementing best practice nursing care in post-acute residents in nearby areas • Monitoring the conditions of residents and providing updates to the nursing team • Measuring and documenting the basic vital signs of residents • Helping residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other basic activities of daily living (ADLs) • Promoting a clean and safe environment by ensuring best practices in hygiene and by clearing areas of hazards • Transporting residents around the facility and assisting them with other movements, as needed during the day • Interacting with residents on a daily basis to keep them engaged, provide comfort, and build trusting relationships • Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable rules, regulations, and policies • Bridging communications between, and among, staff and residents (and their family members) Qualifications and Skills • Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs • Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care procedures • Strong attention to detail • Effective communication and social skills Ready For a Job That Finally Works For You?
