Job Responsibilities
• Providing excellent nursing care to post-acute residents in areas nearby
• Supporting residents with basic activities of daily living (ADLs) like eating, personal hygiene, and grooming
• Protecting resident health and safety by supporting a clean, sanitary, and hazard-free environment
• Assisting with the transportation and movement of residents around the facility, as needed
• Documenting and reporting resident vital signs and updating the nursing team on the physical and mental conditions of residents
• Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable policies, rules, and regulations
• Engaging with residents in ways that build relationships based on a sense of security and trust
• Communicating between, and among, staff, residents, and family members in ways that support transparency and the comfort of residents
Qualifications and Skills
• Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and social skills
