Facility: GSS ND Bi St Vincent Care Ctr Location: Bismarck, ND Address: 1021 N 26th St, Bismarck, ND 58501, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Varied Shifts Job Schedule: Flex Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50 Pay Info: $5000 Sign On Bonus Department Details • $5.00 p/h shift differential • $2.50 p/h travel differential • Weekend/night shift differentials • Must have availability to work various shifts based on center needs Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a vital caregiver for residents in long-term care, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You will ensure age-appropriate care and attend to residents' physical and psychological needs as outlined in their care plans. As a member of the nursing team, you will follow infection control policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Your duties will include: • Assisting with essential daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting • Obtaining and recording vital signs • Supporting residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises • Contributing to meal preparation and providing dining assistance • Documenting resident interactions and changes in condition for the charge nurse • Assisting with housekeeping and laundry to maintain clean living areas • Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational activities Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required • Minimum age of 16; prior nursing assistant experience preferred • Must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be actively pursuing certification • Complete annual competency testing and maintain continuing education credits • For applicable states, registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry • Possession of a valid driver's license may be required for driving roles Benefits The Good Samaritan offers a comprehensive benefits package for qualifying Full-time and part-time employees, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, work/life balance benefits, and generous time off options.
