Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 36.00
Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.50
Pay Info: $5,000 Sign On Bonus
Job Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential resident-centered nursing care and assistance to individuals in long-term care. Your role will be vital in supporting the daily living activities and overall well-being of residents under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN). You will be responsible for:
• Delivering compassionate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.
• Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, transferring, and feeding.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse.
• Ensuring a clean and safe living environment through housekeeping and laundry services.
• Encouraging residents to engage in wellness and recreational programs.
• Documenting interactions and care-related outcomes accurately.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred; however, it is not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
• CNA certification required, with support for obtaining certification provided by the facility.
• Completion of yearly competency testing and at least 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on facility responsibilities.
