Facility: GSS ND Park River Location: 301 Co Rd 12B, Park River, ND 58270, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Evening Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00 Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Available About the Role: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an essential caregiver for residents in our long-term care facility. In this position, you will provide resident-centered nursing care and assist with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your primary responsibilities will include: • Delivering compassionate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents in accordance with their care plans. • Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals. • Monitoring and recording vital signs while providing emotional support and companionship. • Using proper techniques and equipment to help residents transfer and move safely. • Ensuring a clean and pleasant living environment through housekeeping and laundry assistance. • Documenting care and communicating any changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff. You will also have opportunities to assist with wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to engage and maintain an active lifestyle. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Must be at least 16 years old; prior experience in long-term care is a plus. • Required CNA certification or enrollment in a training program to obtain certification within four months. • Completion of yearly competency testing and ongoing educational requirements (minimum of 12 hours annually). • Possession of a valid driver's license may be required for certain responsibilities.
