Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides essential caregiving to residents in long-term care. You will deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include: • Providing age-appropriate care tailored to residents' physical and psychological needs as outlined in their care plans. • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and vital signs monitoring. • Offering psychosocial support and care to enhance the well-being of residents. • Facilitating meal preparation and ensuring a positive dining experience. • Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse. • Assisting with housekeeping to maintain clean and safe living areas. • Encouraging residents to participate in wellness and recreational activities. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Minimum age of 16; prior nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus. • Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or the ability to obtain it within four months of hiring. • Commitment to ongoing education and competency development is required.
