• Schedule: PRN, As needed, Per Diem (Float Pool Differential)
• Department: Nursing Float Pool
• Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center
What You'll Do
Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Assisted Living units only: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living as scheduled and reporting any change in status to the Charge Nurse.
What We're Looking For
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: One year, preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
• Licensure/certification/registration:
• Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
• Medication Safety - AME, required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
