Location: 608 4th Ave SW, Lakota, ND 58344, USA
Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 36.00
Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.50
Pay Info: $5,000 Sign On Bonus Available
Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care to residents in long-term care settings. You will deliver individualized nursing care and support day-to-day living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Monitoring vital signs and documenting resident interactions and outcomes.
• Aiding in food preparation and creating a positive dining experience for residents.
• Facilitating resident mobility through correct transfer techniques.
• Assisting the nursing team with procedures and reporting changes in residents' conditions promptly.
• Keeping living areas clean and organized, while also encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Previous experience in long-term care is preferred.
• CNA certification required, to be obtained within four months of starting, with training provided by the facility.
• Must complete annual competency testing and continuing education credits (12 hours minimum).
• Possession of a valid driver's license may be required based on role responsibilities.
