Weekly Hours: Varies
Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.50
Department Details
This position involves travel to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of your permanent address. We offer mileage reimbursement for required travel and premium pay rates:
• $5/hour premium on all hours worked.
• $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
• $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Experience Requirements:
• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)
Scheduling Requirements:
• Minimum of 30 hours per month
• One weekend shift per month
Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include:
• Delivering age-appropriate care related to residents' physical and psychological needs.
• Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, documenting resident interactions, and communicating changes to the charge nurse.
• Supporting residents during mealtimes and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and assisting with laundry services.
• Encouraging residents to participate in wellness and recreational programs.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Prior clinical experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required; training and certification provided by the facility.
• Completion of yearly competency testing and at least 12 hours of continuing education annually is necessary.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report may be required.
