A Brief Overview
As a CRNA, you will care for patients across all levels of acuity in a diverse range of settings. Your expertise will be essential for surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and pain management.
What You Will Do
• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to ensure patient readiness.
• Develop and clearly communicate individualized plans of care to patients and families.
• Establish and maintain crucial venous access.
• Guarantee airway management throughout all procedures.
• Induce anesthesia, maintain it, and monitor the patient's condition closely.
• Oversee the safe emergence from anesthesia, ensuring a smooth transition post-procedure.
• Transition patient care to the appropriate staff at the end of the procedure.
• Conduct post-operative follow-ups to ensure optimal recovery for each patient.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students, fostering the next generation of CRNAs.

This includes having the necessary visual acuity for the position and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• Active Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
