Job Description As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery. You will ensure safe and effective anesthesia administration while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting thorough preoperative evaluations to assess patient medical history and anesthesia risks. • Developing personalized anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs and surgical requirements. • Administering various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia. • Monitoring patients' vital signs and anesthesia depth during procedures to ensure safety. • Managing airway and respiratory support as needed throughout the surgical process. • Providing comprehensive care in the post-anesthesia recovery unit. • Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare team members for optimal patient care. • Completing required organizational compliance education. Qualifications Basic Requirements/Certifications: - Current, unrestricted CRNA license in any U.S. State, Territory, or District of Columbia. - BE/BC by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). - Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is preferred. - Minimum of 3 years' experience as a CRNA with 18 months within the last year. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). - Experience on military sites as a government contractor is a plus. Education Required: - Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program. Physical Requirements: - Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements. - Capable of prolonged sitting and standing. - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and engage in bending or stooping when needed. Other Special Qualifications: - Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. - Valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months before expiration and able to maintain it during your assignment. - Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government security clearance (MRPT). Current clearances are preferred. - Willingness to relocate for the duration of the project is essential. - Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
