Job Description
Duties
University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This role practices a collaborative supervision model with a high degree of autonomy across diverse settings, including a Level 1 trauma center, ambulatory surgery center, and pediatric trauma center. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Perform clinical anesthesia services.
• Attend continuing education conferences and seminars in order to maintain Recertification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Models and promotes systems change across campus to promote professional conduct and behavior of the highest integrity, exhibiting utmost respect for all members of the University community; demonstrate a commitment to an inclusive environment and nurtures a culture where every employee feels valued and is able to function at his/her best.

Required Qualifications
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
• National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Current Iowa Board of Nursing RN license to practice in Iowa.
• Current Iowa Board of Nursing ARNP license to practice in Iowa.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Contributes to a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.
• New graduates and soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply!
Desirable Qualifications
• Prior experience in the delivery of anesthesia services as a member of an anesthesia care team.
