Our facility offers a full continuum of care-including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and therapeutic recovery services. We are currently looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) to become valuable members of our compassionate and skilled team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care that aligns with our clinical mission and nursing values. This position supports clients' physical and psychological well-being by employing the nursing process and is a core member of a multidisciplinary team focused on empowering clients to take control of their health. You will oversee and coordinate medical services-including psychiatric support and medication management-based on regulatory requirements and patient-specific needs. Available Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Primary Responsibilities: • Safely administer medications and document all treatments in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. • Perform point-of-care tests such as urine drug screens, blood tests, and glucose checks. • Deliver hands-on nursing care aligned with departmental values and the individual goals of each patient. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans that are goal-driven and tailored to each patient's challenges and progress. • Support discharge planning and continuity of care post-treatment. • Adjust staff assignments and care plans based on the evolving needs of patients throughout each shift. • Provide educational support to patients and guide staff in delivering effective teaching plans. • Monitor the accuracy of clinical documentation and provide staff with constructive feedback. • Ensure all patient care practices are consistent with both internal standards and external regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited nursing school • Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of New York • Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) • Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience • Prior experience administering medications in a detox or rehabilitation care setting Key Skills & Attributes: • Proficient with electronic health records and clinical software • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills • High attention to detail and organizational strength • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
