A Brief Overview As a Chemotherapy Registered Nurse, you will deliver essential nursing care, develop nursing diagnoses, and establish objectives while providing holistic support to patients and their families regarding conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Your Responsibilities: • Provide care by collaborating with physicians to review prescriptions and communicate the nursing care plan. • Develop tailored nursing care plans by gathering medical histories and evaluating physical and psychological conditions. • Educate patients and families on health requirements and self-care strategies while addressing their inquiries. • Evaluate care effectiveness by monitoring outcomes and adjusting care plans as needed. • Ensure a safe patient care environment by adhering to best practices and regulatory protocols. • Document patient care services meticulously in records. • Maintain and troubleshoot patient care equipment to ensure optimal function. • Manage inventory of patient care supplies efficiently. Essential Qualifications: Must be able to work specified hours and effectively communicate with others. Visual acuity and auditory ability to perform duties are necessary. Required Education and Licensure: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice upon hire. • ONS Fundamentals Provider Card or ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card within 1 year. Preferred Experience: • Previous experience in Oncology nursing.
