About The Career:

+ Circulator Duties: During the pre-, intra- and post-op phase, the circulating registered nurse: coordinates the activities of the room, assembles necessary equipment, delegates activities to other team members, implements the nursing process and care plan, serves as the patient advocate, assures a safe environment for the patient, completes documentation accurately, completes a correct sponge, needle and instrument count, informs PACU of special needs.

+ The Surgical Services Department at Montrose Regional Health is committed to provide quality surgical services and improve the quality of life for our patients. We provide surgical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

All About You :

+ At least 1 year experience as an Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (preferred).

+ Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed.

+ Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associated, or Diploma in Nursing.

+ BLS required upon hire. ACLS and PALS or ENPC within 9-months.

+ Experience is preferred.

+ Certified in OR is recommended.
