Clinic Registered Nurse in Nyack, NY

Our facility provides comprehensive treatment-from detoxification and medication-assisted services to rehabilitation and long-term recovery support. We're hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) who are passionate about making a difference. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care while coordinating clinical services to support each client's physical and mental health. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, the RN helps patients develop ownership of their recovery process. This role includes oversight of medical care, psychiatric services, and medication management based on individualized needs and compliance standards. Shifts Offered: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Key Responsibilities: • Safely administer prescribed medications, ensuring accurate documentation. • Conduct basic health monitoring including urine analysis, blood work, and glucose testing. • Provide direct care services in line with departmental objectives and patient-centered goals. • Participate in care planning, identifying client needs, and evaluating outcomes. • Support discharge planning and aftercare arrangements. • Modify assignments based on patient condition changes. • Deliver health education and guide support staff. • Audit clinical documentation for accuracy and provide corrective feedback. • Comply with standards set by regulatory bodies and maintain quality patient care. Requirements: • Accredited nursing degree • Active New York RN license in good standing • Valid BLS/CPR certification • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience • Experience in detox or rehab care preferred Preferred Skills: • Effective communication and clinical judgment • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy • Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic settings
