Clinic RN - Hematology Oncology at Providence Health and Services summary: The Clinic RN in Hematology Oncology provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients undergoing radiation oncology treatment, including patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling, and assisting physicians with procedures. This role requires an accredited nursing degree, a Texas RN license, and preferably oncology experience. Description Clinic RN - Hematology Oncology The Clinic RN is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
